I was totally sure i was over reading 100's of I presumed "fake" RROD comments, but I have just sent my elite off to MS after red ringing on friday. it may be a coincedence, but it happened a few days after I installed the preview update. My console is still in the 3 years period, so all is good. I almost cried though. And yes MS doesn't give boxes away anymore, you have to provide your own, but hey my xbox will be fixed for free so I am ok.
or not... i guess i am all alone in here :-) luckily
the image on the site is not the same anymore, the watermark is no longer behind the version section... curiouser and curiouser...
Damnit, the suspence is killing me, does the baby bird get killed by the fox, or do the parents manage to rescue it?
still living in denmark, this would help that
still living in denmark, this would help that.
I live in denmark, isn't that enough?
your "i have no friends" problem probably isn't just related to your lack of multiplayer gaming, but more likely due to your narrow minded outlook on what this update possibly means. more family/wii appeal mean that more people might buy the 360 and upped user base means that more developers will code for it and in the end, the more games you will be able, from november 29th, to install onto the hdd. i can live with avatars popping up every now and again and if it turns out i can't then i'll select the "load disc on statup" option and use the mini-blade from now on, problem solved. as for me? i don't have any online friends because i am a self righteous git, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles: patato vs patato as they say...
this is the best news since bread came sliced. the sonos controller works really well, but after playing around with the ipod remote itunes app it was difficult to look at my once loved sonos scroll wheel the same again. now i get all the benefits of the wonderful sonos system with the glory of a ipod touch screen. as for passing it around a party full of people? it lives in my pocket with my keys and that hasn't hurt it yet...
I checked on amazon and there is a software only without the controllers - so in short, Yes :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
