I've been watching and waiting for the Zino HD for a while.

Only thing, can we expect to see external (USB) cablecard tuners? I'm kind of waiting for the Seton ones to come out soon, and want to make sure I can use whatever HTPC I get as a WMC box too.

Anyone know?
Anyone know a good external drive (1TB or higher) that is powered over USB, so I don't need a separate power cable?
I'm the same way in that it annoys me that Netflix is only stereo, but I don't avoid it because of it.

Here's the thing, doesn't your AVR just run it through Dolby ProLogic II Cinema mode, and give you some 5.1 effects? I find that for most movies, it does a good enough job to at least give you a little bit of surround effect.

Again, it's a trade-off but the convenience of Netflix streaming is well worth it.
Looks just like the old Sony C1XS Picturebook series from around the '99-01 timeframe
@Tripp - no it can't, not until the hopefully-coming-soon next version of Flash that will allow GPU offloading, currently Flash runs purely off the CPU
Cultural reference for the uninitiated:

'Hiro P' - Hiro Protagonist was the main character in Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash.

A MUST READ for any real geek. And of course, when reading, always consider the context of when it was written.
I just remembered from some other post seeing Josh's dog, which stuck in my head because it looks identical to my friend's dog. And this dog does too.
Wait, are Josh T and Laura June a couple?
Yes, that same port can function as an output to a second display (Apple or otherwise)
One factor on the HDMI side is that the new spec (I think 1.4) supports ethernet over HDMI. Useful in the near future for TV's supporting it that have built-in network capabilities so you can just run the one HDMI cable to your TV that supports video, audio, and ethernet. I think the new spec even supports bi-directional audio so you can also run audio back from your TV to the receiver if you're pulling down an OTA signal.

None of that stuff really matters for the iMac, but for the DP vs HDMI argument it should be considered.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
