The original Killzone on PS2 had bots also. Glad to see they are continuing this feature over to PS3. Not everyone has online access on their PS3 and some people just like to practice offline before taking it online.. AI bots are perfect for that.
I wish more first person shooters would include bots as a standard feature.
+1 on the "Are you ready" comment. We've been ready for years now, as the other carriers launched their 3g networks and continued to build them over the years while T-Mobile's 3g was still nowhere in sight.

Now, the other carriers are prepping their 4g launches, and T-Mobile is just now TALKING about a nationwide 3g launch in the future.

Hopefully some day they'll catch up.
Even tiny little Alltel has had 3G for a while now.. WTF is going on with T-Mobile? By the time T-Mobile ever gets around to rolling out nationwide 3g data coverage, the rest of the carriers will have left them in the dust once again since they'll be launching their 4G networks already.

I'm done waiting for T-Mobile and won't be renewing again in June. This waiting game just isn't worth it anymore.

And to Joe - yeah "cheap" plans alright.. ever hear of Sprint SERO? Even just basic regular Sprint plans are comparable to T-Mobile. And of course, all their data plans come with 3G/EVDO coverage.
Will Gears of War 2 support bots?
I can't see digital downloads taking off for at least a few more years simply because downloading a full HD game is going to be what.. at least 5gb? (And how big are our console hard drives?) Not to mention the fact that with a physical disc, it's yours to keep forever, versus a digital download if you have to restore the hard disc, system goes bad and you get a new one, whatever the case may be, the physical disc is YOURS to bring with you wherever you want for as long as you want.
A download on the other hand, is only going to be supported for so long especially if the game isn't selling so well, why pay for the bandwidth costs to keep it online when there's so many other games that could be taking it place?

That's just me personally thoug.. I'd take a disc any day because I know that *I'll* be the one to decide when I don't want it anymore.
The effect on me would be tremendous because I've just moved to GA and am finally getting started at a new job, thus sadly, cannot afford an Xbox 360 right now.
I know it'd take a lot of stress away from my day to day life right now, being able to go to another world with Mass Effect!
No, Han shot first!

Is there a botmatch with teamplay this time around? Last medal of honor heroes you could play instant actionw ith up to 15 bots.. but they all teamed up on you. Hoping they added teamplay this time around..
Wow.. the n-gage had a 104mhz processor? As a former n-gage qd owner I never would have guessed it..
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
