*waits for flame war regarding health care comment, and/or someone declaring that they will stop reading Engadget because it's "too political"*

*grabs popcorn* Don't let me down guys! :-P
Back up. No new products, but they totally redid the cart system.
If you are reading this you probably picked me. Yay!
With the FCC currently investigating all major US carriers for anticompetitive practices, will further consolidation really be allowed?

Still, something needs to happen to Sprint. It'll be fun to watch...
OK, I love you guys, and I haven't ever accused you guys of posting something that wasn't newsworthy to promote a product, but...seriously? And you already mentioned the Pixi in the post right below this one. Y'know, the one where you said Rubenstein was going to be on your Sho...wait.
Did Brian actually seriously just use the word "pinko" in serious conversation? Seriously?

Because that is *awesome.*

Anyway, back on topic: Lighten up, guys, this is Time. They're not an auto rag. I'm sure, to "regular folk" Toyota's first crossover *is* exciting. And the Soul...well, personally I'd pick the Cube, but the Soul is a couple hundred less and has a better warranty. Yes, it's *that* sort of "exciting."
It makes me sad that they're getting rid of the white-and-chrome Xbox 360.

Actually being able to get one of them before their gone forever would make me less sad.

Just sayin'. :-P But, seriously, congrats to whoever wins this :-)
OMG.

If I had that box, I would use it to store the super-secret draft of my next novel, or maybe they keys to my _secret identity._ *suspicious music*

I'm the biggest Prof. Layton fan, ever, but I'm also a poor writer who can't afford the new one :-( I went to Target to stare longingly at its packaging the other day. True story.
"The touchscreen responded so poorly to touch mashes that we asked Creative to reshoot the video out of embarrassment on their behalf. We're not exaggerating."

OUCH. But, seriously, shouldn't you show us the player how it really was (the first time?). It's not like it's your fault they decided to demo a (hopefully) far-from-final product.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
