Hmm, yes, it would be much better to put someone in charge who has 60% of their net worth tied up in automotive shares.

An outsider is exactly the right call.

It's not about experience, it's about judgment. It's not about time put in, it's about lessons learned.
What are the odds of having Android work on this puppy? It's got some pretty bad ass hardware but I haven't run Windows since like 1999 and don't plan on starting.
Someone please please please subsidize this phone in the US. Guaranteed sale if you do. I can't afford $550.
Customers outside of 3G aren't allowed to buy the phone (except online, and only after witnessing how nerfed it is on 2G). And even after the end of TMos major expansion, there still won't be 3G in the entire tri-state area that includes Cleveland and Pittsburgh. That's one hell of a hole in your coverage, TMo.

Someone wake me when I can install Android on a TouchPro (Fuze).

I was ready to jump til today. What a shame.
I agree. I'd still prefer it in black, but the toy-like white appearance is growing on me.

Looks like T-Mobile has got my money (leaving AT&T for this phone, sick of proprietary systems and locked down features)
Exactly. I don't know why I can't reply directly to your post, but anyway ... you're right. The INNOV8 is actually, imo, overkill. The n85 is, for me, the perfect phone. I'd be willing to switch carriers to get it, but I'm NOT paying no $600 for a frigging cell phone.

Someone pick this phone up!
FREE?

Arrrgh, US carriers are the worst. Are we (the US) ever going to get this phone? And will it come on a carrier? And not be nerfed?

Is this REALLY too much to ask?
All show and absolutely no go whatsoever.

TRD -- read aloud: "turd" -- is absolutely right.

Piss on Toyota.
"350z derived V6"

someone has penis envy, my oh my.
you drive a minivan. not a 'race car inspired' minivan. just a minivan.

and a nissan at that.

anyway, as to the actual article; this brings to mind Ford's ad (which was quite good) w/ the father and son playing with a Mustang GT in an empty parking lot doing burnouts.

they said it did 0-60 in 4.7s.

yeah. freaking. right.
Why anyone would pick an SRT Magnum over an SRT Charger is BEYOND me. Even to review. It's still a wagon.

I like the redesign, though. Looks tougher.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
