how about bonjour messaging? That's a big one for me.
unrelated- but he even LOOKs like a douche.

i'll get jumped on for saying it, but I owned a blackberry t509 once. Makes a wonderful paperweight. You might say:

iPwned.
Actually, the sim card in the iphone has a 3g label on it. That may actually turn out to be a software update-able feature unless i'm completely lost in the logistics of that 3g. As far as iChat goes, you can already carry on conversations with AIM members with unlimited messaging, so why not just add a buddy list feature into the SMS app?
Dude. First, you spent $3000 on a macbook PRO not a macbook. Second, you are obviously a terrible shopper because that's one of the higher prices I've ever heard for a MacBook Pro. Third, you fail to realize that most people that own a MacBook LOVE the change in keyboard and are pretty psyched for this.

I love blog comments. "I've never used it but I think it SUCKS!! Screw Steve Jobs!".

melodrama has always been the blogger's horrible addiction.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
