Jay,
The Touch Pro2 actually came out back in Feburary of this year so to call it 2 years too late is crap.
Yea verizon's track record sux with the last touch pro,( I own one.) but this one aint that bad. plus all of them coming out at the same time and this time its not crippled with its GPS or RAM. I'm hoping to do another warranty replacement this time will make it #4 and get them to offer me the pro2.

You can't compare this is a windows mobile 6 smart phone not a phone that has its own proprietary OS that software can't be downloaded with out going to your carrier.
Verizon Come on all you have is that Q9M Which is a POS compared to this.
Oh well maybe i can get an alltel on verizon network.
The real reason that no of you have mentioned is that the GPS will cost the cabbie $7000-$8000 per cab plus $1500 yearly service and cc processing fee.
Cabbie's dont whana have to pay for something that A. The don't need B. Will have tons of ad's targeted at customers that the get no revenue from but they have to pay for.
If the City or the TLC Commission would offer to pay for it or at least 1/2 for it then there wouldnt be any strike but with gas prices going thru the roof and now this Congstion toll pricing coming to NYC they basically have had enough.
While I own an IS 250 AWD and a LS400. I can only imagine how powerful that lil car is with an 8 Cyl.
While German Cars are more powerful and some people say better.
I'll keep my Japanese cars that retain Value well after driving them off the lot and you guys keep ur german cars with computer problems and pay extra for every option that i get standard...
Actually Sirius has a NavTraffic System out now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
