Just spoke with the sales Manager over there at SMS. He admits that if we are frustrated at this point we must at least have some idea of how frustrated he and his team are. They are very excited yet weary at this point. As he has a valid point. How many other have promised a cell watch but never delivered at all. These are real but there were many design and technical difficulties to overcome in creating a full function micro phone for your wrist not to mention the cost for R&D. Release is Aug.31 2007 with private orders arriving by Sept.15th and Distubitor release on Sept15th. as well. Lets keep our fingers crossed as I was one of the first to order when it was still the m300 and butt ugly!
This phone has been upgraded again to the TFT touch screen with stylus and is called the M500. Comes with a spare battery and micro BlueTooth 2.0 headset. Retail is set at $990. AUS dollars or about $750.US.
Final release is set for August 31 2007 and world wide distribution for Sept. 15 2007. visit mymobilewatch dot com for latest news and ordering. I ordered mine last year in Nov and cant wait. Just a few more weeks!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
