The keyboard is totally aggravating, the size is not too bad and has a very intuitive layout, but for me it registers the wrong key about 15% of the time... unless I'm real careful.
Ahmen. I am very disappointed with AT&T's Edge, one thing I can't seem to be able to do is to use DUN or PAN to gain Internet access on my laptop, something I was able to do with the Treo. It blows when people make such fantastic devices but basically disable really great features in order to protect the service providers other financial interest. I'm surprised AT&T let them release the iPhone with wifi capability, that was something dumped from the Treo 650 because Sprint wanted to make sure you used their pay service for internet.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
