Supposedly, Airport wireless is a very profitable company. I suppose the high margin helps, but like most people here, I don't get how they they sell enough to keep the store open. I've never seen more than 2 or 3 people in line to buy a palm product there in all my travels.
I'm not sure why the negativity. This is a new technology called e-paper. I heard about it before. It's supposed to look just like paper except the "images" or text on it can change electronically. I haven't seen it in person yet, but supposedly alot of companies are looking into using it like to replace newspapers and stuff (or have newspapers update throughout the day). They'll look pretty similar to normal regular paper newspspers.

Now, I'm not sure why the tape, but it could be to make it look more like real paper, or that's just the temporary way they mount it.
Why did LG finally give in? Didn't they say before when questioned about the lack of an on screen QWERTY keyboard that users of the PRADA phone would not need one. Current users of the LG PRADA also said that an on screen keyboard would be too small and unuseable and said the iPhone on screen keyboard was just a gimmick. That was why I gave up on LG touchscreen phones, so I'm glad they finally came around. I remember one of the engineers or maybe just a marketing guy was saying that they debated the keyboard issue before finally removing it for simplicity's sake = /.
You must not have noticed that all Microsoft Windows Mobile cell phones have had speech to text software for a couple years now, so there must be at least some people voice texting on the go. BTW, text to speech software is available too, so they can just listen to their text messages.
Favorite scene is when the messenger guy gets kicked into the pit. It was great in the trailer, and it was great in the actual movie.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
