You can easily switch between the Touch Flo 3D interface on the Touch Pro and install the Omnia VGA interface side by side, as a today plug in, so if you want the best of both worlds, I'd say the hTc Touch Pro is where the real work gets done
Skyfire needs to implement VGA resolution before WVGA at least in my personal situation, I wonder if Skyfire accepts donations hm..?
Works very nicely on my new Sprint Touch Pro, and since Skyfire servers handle the bulk of the work, i can watch Family Guy while i wait for for my oft late co-worker, without any repressed feelings
Well what a great review, first off and wow, what a great revamp of the systems dashboard, I'm looking forward to the update, re newing my gold subscription and probably going to start taking advantage of the movie features more often now +2
so... about that U.S release, are we still on track for a October 19th availability, overnight shipping and all that good stuff?
I got over the glossy diamond back so long ago, now its all about that silver Touch Pro backing with its elegant silver lining. T-mobiles G1 goes public Sept 23rd and I'm not on any kind of contract yet I've retained service with Sprint. They should have gotten exclusivity on the Touch Pro as opposed to the Touch Diamond, with ATT getting their Fuze supposedly Oct 23rd it just makes for an unwanted situation... Oh the choices
way to not show any relevance to the article whatsoever. anyway.. there's something about making Japan wait that makes me feel good inside
It might be the thrill of getting it, or it might just be the "waiting" or having something to look forward to like crazy... loosing sleep and having dreams of being super productive. In the end its what i've wanted all along, a solid capable phone, it's like if Sprint renamed itself " The New Sprint " more bars in more...wait, they really dont use cheap gimmicks, needless to say, the products and awsome coverage sell themselves. No unbelievably crazy built up hype/ besides the hype its gets by its own merit. Hat's off to Sprint and HTC for coming through, I'm sure figures will correlate nicely. Here's to 2010 :]
I know its a 4th Generation product, but really though, the tittle is really bothersome. Stop naming crappy things with the next iteration (G) symbol next to it. It just seems like a really cheap gimmick, "OMFG Jurrasic Park 3G!!1! " besides isn't real 4G something entirely different. By the way, design wise, seems like they got lazy or dumb. what happened to the wider "nano" that comfortably fit in the palm of the hand...? Did sales suffer due to an unfamiliar i-format
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
