And the huff and haw is over what? GPS is an awesome feature unless they are not to keen about being 'tracked' (especially if they are going to the doughnut shops instead of on the road).
Unforunately, the iPhone's set up is way too slow for VZ EVDO network. That's the only reason VZ turned them down. So unless they (Apple) reconfigure the iPhone, no dice.
Looks like a mash up of enV love and Prada love. This will sell well once VZ knocks down the price, rebates are furnished a plenty, and bugs are worked out. I wonder what the battery life will be like?
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
