I, for one would like to see the end to this "I, for One" marathon... At least for today.
$3,000 for... this!? ha! let me put it on my Black American Express Card...

If it comes with only two speakers, no center or satellite speakers and a subwoofer then technically this is NOT a Home Theater in a Box. But an overprice sorry-ass intent hybrid product pretending to be a Home Theater in a Box.

I don't believe the virtual surround sh!t either. You get the Home Theater experience from 5,6 or more ACTUAL speakers not some imaginary 2-speaker phooey. The Rip-in-The-Water effect, sounds more like Rip-in-The-Pocket effect! Who is Sharp think they are, Sony?
Thanks Engadget for correcting the photo hyperlink mistake., now i can see the Translated Article.
Nice WOOO. BTW: the photo lead to a Samsung mini site.
asw910: Yes they are the Bushes. Not only can Georgie initiate meaningless wars for oil profit in the name of our so-called "way of life" and democracy, and is an expert on the art of lying and as we all know needs a crash course in Hook-on-Phonics for the few "Nukular" mistakes he had said, but he's a terrible Segway driver as well! i guess being terrible at everything is a Bush tradition.
Wonderful! Japanese corporate policy at it best! their own home market consumers get to be the [first] lucky ones and have their units fixed while the rest of the world can screw themselves. I'm so glad i don't buy ANYTHING Canon.

Will Canon be reimbursing the Gaijins Oops! i meant the "abroad consumers" for the time their crappy Canon machines are out of service? Just a thought, i mean they also paid for their machines like the Japanese consumer did., there's no need to take favorites here.

Long live Hewlett-Packard and their wonderful, TROUBLE-FREE, quality AND affordable printers.
Never mind this overprice piece of Japanese crap., But is that Chuck Woolery the famous game show host?

TheGuy: We haven't test it yet to verified that Sony has screw it up... once again.

Chris Lunter: Contrast Ratio is the balance between Blacks and Whites., the higher the Contrast Ratio the better., Blacks will be deeper instead of Dark Gray also you'll notice brighter pure Whites instead of Blueish Whites.
Oh Wow! how wonderful this is, another robot with manners from the "wonderful" minds at Hitachi. {sarcasm}

I see how the Japanese will do anything to call for the attention of the world in their traditional poorly orchestrated efforts. They always want to be first in the leading position of the most profitable industries whether that be in the automobiles, electronics and now the robotics industry. They have lost the war in the Plasmas an LCDs field to lower cost manufacturers from Taiwan, South Korea and China what's next to do to remain number 1?

They'll turn their efforts to Artificial Intelligence, if they succeed {as a country, not as individual companies} they can still be in the top of a new revolutionary industry/market without any future competition that might ruin their plans of selling overpriced goods with limited features outside Japan. That's their way of living. Clever, but not too clever for me to notice.
Michael Leonardo: You and the rest of trolls and idiots with their "First Post" crap are depressing me. Engadget PLEASE! start the ban against these idiots and they stupid comments.
I just want to see Sony Become history.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
