If you're annoyed, there's probably better places to spend your time.
I personally don't even know why anyone bothers to report on these stupid, finicky, awkward-to-use, MAGNET-filled phones, anyway. I can have a phone that barely fits in my pocket, doesn't have a standard number pad, AND erases my credit cards? Now that's progress! The future is here!
What I'd like to know and so far haven't seen talked about, is whether the 3G iPhone's rate plans are going to cost more, or if the early-adopters get hosed and pay the same for slower data.
Looks to me like it just sits on the shoulders. If it does somehow avoid the lift phenomenon associated with normal umbrellas, that's all it needs to do.
It could take off-- some of those very made-up women in places like New York would sooner look like retro-futuristic idiots than mess up their hair and make-up. If you spent as long as they did in front of a mirror every morning you'd probably feel the same way.
You'd probably also feel hollow inside, but that's beside the point.
Okay, so they've got "features" and have "lots of megapixels and stuff." I get it already. What is even the point of a digital camera expo? Do you have sample images? Picture quality is kind of the important thing when it comes to cameras. THEN features. And pixels barely enter into it.
Wait, is this a really early April Fool's joke? A pocketable digital camera with MANUAL control options? A 60-second shutter and a halfway decent aperture range! And it's only $180!?
I think I just peed a little. That's insane. I guess it's not perfect. If it offered a RAW shooting option, then it'd be perfect. But you can't have EVERYTHING for $180 I guess :D
I would blame camera manufacturers for continuing to hawk compact cameras with 10, 11, even 12mp sensors, but really it's the consumers' fault for being a bunch of mindless tools.
"Durrr look dis one has more megapiksels 'dan dis other one Durrrrrrrrrrrr."
I'm all for companies making a buck off of stupid people, but it was a frightening while before they started easing back and putting out new 8mp models with better features.
And even still here we are with Nikon offering two cameras with the same price. I bet good money more people will buy the 10mp model because they're convinced they somehow need a picture that large and don't even realize they're getting a noisier, crappier picture anyway.
It seems odd that they'd skin it in Aero Glass, since the first major announcement regarding Windows 7 was that their first priority was trying to make the OS smaller and more efficient, compared to the current bloated state in which Windows has found itself.
Unless they're already so far into the game that they've made a smaller, more efficient way of displaying Aero Glass-like effects.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
