Just picked up the TianYu A699 for just over 800HKD in MongKok. Impressed so far for what it packs. I'm not too worried if the design is 'borrowed' from Nokia, as long as it's ergonomic.
The text input is quick, easily switching between languages, numerals, etc. However one thing missing in my opinion. As an English-speaker I would pay an extra 200-300HKD to add the T9 English predictive "smart" text input-- this makes for quick one handed texting. But anyways, good work with this one guys

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
