But the problem is most people have no idea about the DRM on SD cards... they just see a nice, small, high-capacity card... not knowing they are getting locked down.
Check the video... it's right there Silly Rabbit!
This would be the best present ever!!!!!

Alliance FTW!!!!!
So, I could set up the camera to watch my hand count down from five fingers to one before it takes a picture. That makes much more sense than having to figure out the delay timer's sometimes peculiar blinking pattern for when it's going to snap a picture?

What happens to all the Asian people who insist on holding up the peace sign in ever picture I take or the random guy who hold up the bunny ears behind someones head in a picture? Will the camera get stuck on 2 seconds in the count down?

How about the Douchbag in the NY and LA clubs that hold up an "I'm Number One" hand gesture every time they have their picture taken?

Come to think of it, it actually sounds like a good way to un-train those horrible habits... LOL.
I really hate some of the things that people can get patents for. I mean, a patent for being able to check messages in the users prefer order?

Come on... that would mean there is probably someone out there with the patent to listen to voice mails in alphabetical order based on your address book entries?

I think it is a common sense thing that someone would eventually want to be able to select which messages they listened to. They shouldn't have been issued a patent in the first place. The USPTO is getting out of hand...
@ Terrance

So, you know the release date? Quit being a party pooper and tell all will ya?!!

I just hope that it's not an on-line only deal... I want to handle it first... I know it's going to be a lot of coin to take it home when it finally gets here.
Hooray!!!! Now lets hope for a release next week!!! Please Verizon...
I bet the only reason they are selling it is because they ran out of the Samsung760 and can't get a new order in before the holidays.

"Quick, we are out of new powerful QWERTY's, what can we sell?"
"How about the stuff we were going to depreciate as obsolete?"
"Great, pull it out and sell it online so they can't use it before they buy it and we can stick 'em with the whole contract mess, yeah...."
No kidding... considering its a really old phone by now.

Also, Verizon's online store says the 2-year contract price is $499!!! Then you get an on-line only discount of $100 and then a $50 MAIL-IN rebate. So, the real price of the phone can only reach the horrible price of $349 if you want to jump all the hoops. What a rip-off. Verizon's sales slogan should be: "Great call quality on last years phones" or "Americas largest rip-offs"...

LOL
Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me, Pick Me!!!!!!!!!!

Ohhhhh Please Pick Me... LOL
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
