I think this is crazy. I hate our culture where we sue over every little thing. They'd have a case if they werent using modded xbox consoles with stolen games. Pirating = stealing for those of you who don't realize it. Really if you don't think its worth what they charge then go without we don't need video games to live. I'm a little more understanding of theft when its for necessities, even then there are other ways. People always say that its because of DRM that legal purchasers are punished (this is more relavant with pc gaming rather than console) when really its the thieves we should blame, i'm glad Microsoft took the time to punish the cheaters they get my 50 bucks a year just for enforcing the terms, plus in my experience xbl is worth the cost compared to the psn. You get what you pay for and and if you don't pay when you should there are consequences.
Its basicly shares an evdo rev a connection over wifi so multiple computers can access the internet at the same time.
I agree with the comments about Skyfire's experience its far superior to the iphone's safari even though if it is a server based browser. And to be perfectly honest i don't know of any page safari is capable of showing that i can't veiw on my native Blackberry Storm browser with javascript enabled and Firefox browser identification. And Ihave stereo BT and true MMS with video capture capabilities. I wish people would stop worshiping the iphone so much, is it a great device, maybe, I just cant believe that people don't realize that Apple could enable all of these things, they just choose not to so you'll want to upgrade every year with the newer model.
Resident Evil: When Zombies Attack.
The Swamp! As in Ben Hill Griffin stadium.
You shouldn't be able to walk and reminisce about X3F at the same time.
Seriously worst idea ever. I don't have cable but i pay what i consider an outrageous fee for high speed internet. Just because the market is changing i can't believe that they would even consider pulling a stunt like this. If you want to take away hulu and such services all together then fine but don't play games with the internet access just because i don't pay for your stupid cable services too. I can't wait for wireless 4g networks to be fully deployed then i'll just forget about my home internet all together.
I honestly love the sure press screen. As a long time user of touch screen phones i love the feel of the clicking. Haptic feedback just doesnt cut it. I have had two verizon phones with wi-fi and between the four years that i owned them i used the wifi only twice, and even then it was only to test if it was working, so its not even an issue on the storm for me. Screen transitions could be faster, i guess overall i just want more processor and more ram but as it goes i love the device. If verizon ever gets a version of the touch HD then i will probably switch but until then i will be holding on to this one.
Sounds like i'm one of the lucky few it didn't brick. I would have been steamed if it had. I love my xbox but wtf can't they come out with some solid hardware, like the original.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
