i dunno why everyone always turns questions like these into a mac-windows war, or a iphone vs. the rest of the mobile world war. the question was how would u improve microsoft not which OS system is better. obviously some of u wanna be smart asses can't read or just don't comprehend what a question is asking you. As for me i would definitely figure out to make windows virus free for good. I would fire whoever the fuck made vista and get a new young minded developer who is more in tune with the common man and what their needs are on a PC. I would take a world wide poll to see what the consumers are looking for in the latest windows OS. I would cut back on the zune and stop trying to compete with apple over the mp3 industry bc they pretty much have that on lock. instead i would be more concerned with the business world and what they need and provide tools, machines and system that is very effective and simple for them to use at a great price that no one could compete with. Instead of wasting my time on mp3 and childish shit i'd be more worried ab making newer products that could help people with their everyday tasks. The new windows i make will be in everything such as cars, robots, phones, and everything that would need a A.I. I'd keep the xbox and improve it by making the first system with a good quality holographic image. i would aim to do all this with in the first 3yrs then go from there based on the feedback i get from the consumers.

w/e they come out with Nokia already has on their phones other then the UI iphone will still be playing catch up...

i never assumed you to be a MS or Zune hater i didn't assume or direct any comments at u in any way. You however did assume that I am an apple antagonist which couldn't be further from the truth. I have a Macbook and Macbook pro, I have a iMac, and i also have about 2 or 3 ipods including the touch. I do not hate apple at all. I just Know for a fact that when it comes to smart phones the N95 kills the iphone in every category other then interface. as for the stocks of apple rising it wasn't solely bc of the iphone it actually was mostly do to their ipods and itunes. My lil brother has a iphone and even he knows better then to compare it to the super feature packed N95 8GB. While Apple is still trying to figure out how to get 3g Nokia is already on HSDPA (4G) and Wimax. so back to my previous comments iPhone is for kids any tech geek will tell u N95 is much better then the iPhone which is why i was shocked to see the editors of Engadget get it wrong. I was expecting it from the People.

lol the most anticipated gadget of the year is a 3G iphone r u kidding me everyone needs to jump off iphone's bandwagon its a kids phone and its definitely not the best smart phone of the year. The Nokia N95 8GB is by far the best phone out this year. All the additions that they make to improve the iphone every month and all the add-ons N95 has had since the end of 2005. I dunno what your editors were thinking when they voted for this. I can understand the readers but come on you guys should know better. Also by far the most anticipated gadget of the year around the whole world is the touch screen that Nokia is getting ready to roll out at the end of the year. Only way i can see u guys not choosing that as the winner is bc u have it being released next year and not this one. Iphone doesn't even record video lol i've been recording video with sony ericcson's and nokia's since 2003. and if i want to delete a song on the iphone in order to free up some space i have to find a computer somewhere and if it isn't mine then it deletes all my songs wtf is that. Its alright tho i can understand how after so many years of the US sucking at making phones how you would get excited to the first thing that can compare to the nokia and SE phones.

this shit sucks i had a Nokia n95 and just recently purchased the N95 8b its by far the most amazing phone i have ever owned and my lil brother has the iphone doesn't compare at all. I am very disappointed if this truly is the N96 i have been waiting about a year now to see what Nokia will come out with after their best phone ever and if this is it then they need to go back to the drawing board. I don't really mind not having the touch screen but a nicer design would be much better. I would like a bigger screen tho the 8GB screen is close to perfect. I want optical zoom on my camera bc when u zoom with the N95 u start to notice that it is indeed a cellphone. I like how much memory this has but i thought that by now they would have WiMax internet. I don't like this phone at all and will keep my 8Gb until something better comes out this just doesn't do it for me especially with all the anticipation i've had waiting for the next super powered and feature packed N-Series.

lol while everyone is still trying to get their hands on the N95-3 america edition i'll be upgrading to the 8gb all black N95 that shit looks mean!
