Great article, like to see the classics and I'm a fan of Dunhill. In addition to their fashion I enjoy Dunhill's bags, for only $1,100 the Confidential Computer Case was reviewed on 3LUXE: http://www.3luxe.com/best_ofs/Briefcases/Dunhill_Confidential_Computer_Case

It's a purchase that you'll will be able to enjoy for years to come.
Rigel, I couldn't agree more that every home bar needs stylish accessories. My favorite shaker is one designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1969, the Cylinda Cocktail Shaker: http://www.3luxe.com/best_ofs/Cocktail_Shakers/Stelton_AJ_Cylinda_Line_Cocktail_Shaker
As the weather cools in the fall I tend to enjoy more spirits and love good vodka. Another vodka that I have found to be suberb (Double Gold Medal Winner from the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco) and even better in the current economy (usually under $20) is Tito's Handmade Vodka:

It's also readily available, I picked up my last bottle at Trader Joe's.

Cheers - Bill
Right, true black in comparison to today's blacks. But with no back-light, will another device in the near future be able produce better "true black" than oled technology?
Thinest LCD yes, but thinnest TV not quite. Check out Sony's new OLED TV. Has a 3mm panel and is currently available in an 11in. model, larger TVs on the way. In addition to being super thin, oled allows for true blacks. Check out the review at 3LUXE:

The iPhone hacks couldn’t be coming at a better time. As iPhone users travel in and out of ATT coverage, they may get hit with a nasty surprise. My brother spent about 10 days of July in Canada, with his iPhone. Yesterday his ATT bill arrived - $3,000! To see the whole story:
A box I could live with, the $3,000 iPhone bill I could live without. It will be interesting how ATT resolves this and other issues. The interesting thing he had been on a North American plan from Cingular/ATT for the last 3 years, it allowed for roaming in the US, Canada and Mexico for free.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
