Sorry for my previos comment, 1Password'd fault, not mine....well mine also :)

WHat I wanted to point out is, that O2's Pre is unlocked, so there's no need unlocking it!
Well one can always import one... no Zune service though!
Is there any way to listen to the live stream on the iPhone. I tried searching for engadget on Ustream, but got no results...

At least Pre's price is decent. Sim-unlocked iPhone 3G S goes for 620 and 720 euros. I'll keep the 3G and wait for the Pre.
Great formfactor, bad camera and a strange screen resolution.

Wanna bet, that this will come out before the Pre?
It's needed badly, because in the land of Slovenia, there is no official iPhone 3g. We can go and buy it at our neighbours, the Italians, unlocked and almost ready to work. The big problem, however is, number format. In order to normally use the iPhone 3G in Slovenia, you have to add the right number formats. That's why I badly need jailbreak.

The second thing is autocorrection, in order to be able to write in a foreign language on the iPhone, one has to turn of the autocorrect feature. Again it's only possible with jailbreak.
How can all of you forget to mention flash support for safari on iPhone/iPod Touch?
Another round, another try. Engadget you rock!
Let's see if I can win something here :)
And BTW engadget Rocks!

How about giving an ulocked iPhone to somebody outside USA? :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
