Sounds like great fodder for a law school exam.
No kidding. Using my iPhone in Europe (even Croatia on the islands!) was a dream. Great signal strength AND lots of wifi everywhere.
So that makes at least two of us. Interesting (though not in a good way!)
@LDR - I'm in Tampa as well. Using my 3GS to connect to the DC server on the DSLreports.com app, I got:

Latency 163 ms
Download 2211 Kbps
Uload 306 Kbps

Latency is all over the place for me as well.

Much like this Chicago test, it is only slightly better than my 3G.

What's bizarre, though, is that the 3G is KILLING my 3GS if I test them each on my wifi connection.
Anyone know why that would be??
Yes, was getting the white screen a LOT a couple days ago. Problem is, when I turned off and back on, guess what....EVERYTHING was lost. I popped out in the dark with the British guy's voiceover telling me how to move around. That was a rather crappy moment. Yes, I lost absolutely everything and have had to start over with acing and bagging every. single. friggin'. level. Of course, my saved costumes and photos are history.
I don't understand that, Nathan. Gmail filters 99.99% (if not better) of all spam emails I get (which are plenty) directly into the spam folder. Conversely, false positives are also extremely rare. I don't know what kind of filters, etc. they use, but every other ISP and email provider should receive them as a public service!

So, in Thunderbird, my spam download rate (haven't gone from POP to imap yet) is about nil. Seriously, thanks to Gmail, spam is WAY off my radar compared to all the other much more important world issues we have to deal with these days.
Spam? What's spam? Thanks, Gmail!
RTFM! Or in this case - Intro.
I saw the same thing as Elizabeth D. It must have changed overnight. I looked at the site the evening of the 14th and it said October 31.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
