What's with all the rage about DSG? :/

Having driven the Audi TTS with both DSG and manual, I'd take the DSG in a heartbeat. It consumes less, I dare anyone to change faster, has a manual mode and generally isn't anything like a "normal" auto from the old days. To me, it just made the driving easier. And faster ;)

Oh, and I drive a manual.
I do agree it is a bit on the pricey side, but people will buy it regardless for some like the combination of style, power and the badge and don't care if it's not the best 0-60 per $ car ;) And if one has the finacial means to get one, it doesn't really matter if it was +/- 5k$ :)
BMW...it's only expensive if you can't afford it...
Hmm...the app icons instantly make me think of the iphone, but the battery % and reception indicators make of think of a nokia. Go figure...
Wait, what??!! Does the US average Joe really think 37k$ is a lot for this? :o
Imo, it's kind of a moot point to bitch about a price increase on a 7-series...With decent options it's a 90-100k$ car! If you have to worry about the price, you can't afford it. The same pretty much goes for the rest of the line-up, nobody buys a bmw for their great value. Since they're not ;)
Hmmm...I seem to be in the opposition here for I think the new Z looks pretty nice! This flame surfacing, it seems to be growing on me more and more...and the designs seem to be "maturing".

When the Z4 came out, I thought it was pretty much the 2nd worst looking BMW ever (the honors going to Z3...), but these days I find it absolutely gorgeous. Same-ish with the E60; initially, it looked weird, almost non bmw-ish after the E39 (I still think E39 M5 is one of the best looking cars ever) but now, it's very nice actually.

Current 3 is a mixed bag. The sedan is simply boring and bland compared to the competition and even the coupe screams for the M-package. The M3 was, is, and always will be a beautiful, beautiful car.

/end rant :)
No jack = Touch HD for me :)

Bummer for the big G, HTC wins anyway ;)
Going a little O/T, but I just love to read some Americans thinking bmw's are now too expensive after a mere ~1000$ price hike...

M3 in the US: $57,500
M3 in Finland: $169,635 (or 114,600EUR)

You still think it's expensive huh..? ;)
M3 for 60k$ :((((((

We pay (a lot) more for a VW Golf GTI back here in Finland :|

(ok, part of it goes to the uber-weak USD, but still...)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
