a universal standard for a charging/data port is fantastic, but it shouldn't be micro usb, i personally see alot of this port failing just because people insist on talking on their phone while it charging, knock it off the desk while connected etc etc.....
From a technician standpoint that has already updated dozens of handsets, 1) yes mms does work but it is service book dependant, so after you do your upgrade push your service books or pull your battery for about a minute. 2) yes html email does work. 3) yes upgrading your device will require you to reactivate your enterprise activation if you had one
I was told that Sprint dropped so much money into the marketing of the instinct that they put all new handset purchases on hold until the beginning of Q3 so that they can should a profitable Q2. Curves and Q9's should be becomming available any day now and I expect the curves will fly off the shelf, doesn't much matter to me though, i've had mine for 3 weeks lol
I THRIVE off engadgetmobile...honestly! I know what's going on here before my work tells me! You guys ROCK!

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
