They are double dipping here, which makes it an awefull deal for anyone interested in a smartphone. I picked the HTC Touch pro 2, they made me pick one of the 3 plans (500/1000/Unlimited) that included the web, THEN they charged an ADDITIONAL $30 on the final page for web. But you can't change to a non-web plan. So you have to pay for the web twice??
The phone is free with new contract or upgrade at Best Buy Mobile, so it's a good buy in that sence.
"Sprint's got 52.8 subscribers"

don't you mean

"Sprint's got 52.8 million subscribers"
The phone is the 8330, not the 8830 :p

Also, I work at a Best Buy, and from what our correction notices, and my sprint rep have told me, the date is actually May 15th. Exactly mid May indeed
I work at a Best Buy Mobile Store, and thats exactly whats in our sign system as of today when I checked. So I assume that that price may be exclusive to BBY Mobile Stores and not regular Wireless Departments.
i haven't worn a watch in years, but this looks pretty snazzy
keyboard... *drools*
wow, this sounds cool
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
