yes of course, thats how it is. but it is as good as a 100$ cash. i guess u can even buy the accessories, itunes music, ringtones, etc, etc from apple within the next year or so.

and show me one techie guy who wouldn't plan to buy a product of apple. remember, these are the ones who stood in line under the scorching sun and the frosty wind, to seize the gizmo. people like our parents wouldn't even do that [spend 500+$] in their dreams.

so definitely it is worth it for those people, they'd have anyway planned their purchase from apple even without/before this 100 rebate. its like an amazon rebate/certificate.

but point here is what engadget mentioned, no one gives away free money back? does anyone? .. ponder on the confidence of Steve!
Engadget's online minute by minute posting on the Apple's iPod Launch event was as eventful and exciting for us at-large people as if directly being in that hall of SF. Thank you very much, you really deserve and command the Gadgets world, which you've aptly ENlivened it, like none other, not even NYT or CNET. :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
