If you're using Windows, and you're okay with Windows Mobile... The HTC HD2 is definitely the number 1 best Windows Phone around. It would be nice if it had a QWERTY keyboard. Aside from being touch screen only, the HD2 is definitely the best. I hope I win. ^_^ I will use it as my primary phone, and I will make sure it will not get even one tiny scratch. Really nice giveaway, thanks!
I'm a little bit confused... they have factories in China like a lot of companies, but isn't Foxconn's headquarters in Taiwan? So, if that is the case.. wouldn't it be considered Taiwan's Foxconn just as HTC is from Taiwan as well? It is tragic about the 25-year old worker. Must of been really scared and distraught about the missing iPhone prototype. Such sad and tragic news.
Perhaps they're following SonyEricsson and its the Camera series instead of Cybershot?
This could of been the new soundwave for the movie. Okay, that's probably not realistic.
It's fake... agreed! It's not just the zoombar...Where's the Windows logo button? Wasn't it suppose to be a Microsoft requirement on devices with Windows 6.5 and up?
I know. =) Hardware wise the device looks like the Touch HD. It is especially evident in the rear of the device. ...the shinny chin and the camera area. It looks like they tried using photoshop to change the camera area too, and did a poor job of it. So I guess we still have SciPhone to kick around...
Ummm...I believe it may be photoshop work too. Looking at the solo shot of the front of the device.. One would assume it is heading for T-Mobile because one of the icons is "myFaves." I'm guessing its a photoshop work from a HTC Magic. Button layout looks suspiciously like the Magic as well.
I read Engadget's articles to find out what to get for my cave. Alfred thinks Engadget is coolio too.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
