Patience, A2DP support (in MacOSX and MobileOSX) will come when Leopard comes out. Only a couple of months to wait ;)

I read it in my tea leaves.

Possibly a very long time. Look at how little headway people have made with the iPod Touch (see tuaw).

Can I re-iterate the request for info on whether jailbreak still works?
How usable is the iPhone on a GPRS network? Totally unusable?

Just interested.

...as for FCC approval. A device as a whole doesn't necessarily need the FCC approval. It may be pre-approved. Which is why we possibly haven't seen the FCC docs for the Touch.

..as we all know CSR make the iPhone bluetooth module.

I think the best theory I've seen is that if it is in there it will come when OSX manages to support a2dp stereo headsets. Leopard release and a free bluetooth upgrade. They will sell a lot of Leopard upgrades then :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
