the sidekicks suck in general. I'd rather have a Kaiser or something. T-mobile is so bad that I had to buy an unlocked phone and it works like a charm. Funny how t-mobile is kissing ass by giving you more minutes when what we need is 3G lol. I will not buy a phone from the United States ever again.
personally I don't think either one is worth it. I am still waiting for the Kaiser or a 3G enabled Shadow with a Querty Keyboard. Otherwise I would say that the Helio Ocean is the best phone on the market right now.
sorry but im not a fan of Motorola phones....I think they are all built terribly. I never had a problem with Samsun but I have always had them unlocked. I agree that the Samsung Beat is terrible.
yet another phone that sucks lol.....great job t-mobile.....yuou know what folks? I suggest that you guys get an unlocked GSM phone because you are better off with that than the crap that t-mobile offers.
I refuse to pay $300 for a device that does not have 3G. That is the point of getting a sidekick because any phone has a camera, bluetooth, mp3 player or whatever. T-mobile just wants the customers to dish out money to repair thier mistake from the 1700 spectrum that they bidded on. If anyone is dumb enough to pay that price they should get thier eyes examined.
no wonder they are ripping people off charging $300 for every sidekick knowing that it has the same crap. I complained about that to them in an email let's see what happens. I am not going to sit here and dish out my hard earned cash for a phone that sucks. Thier line up is terrible and the blackberry plans come out to 95 with voice and all. Why pay that much when you most likely have a computer at home. I'd rather buy a portable laptop. I currently have the Samsung SGH E 250 with 9 months remaining on my 2 year contract them im leaving t-mobile for good. At least they have until next summer to show me what is going on with that 3G. Anybody know about the JUNO? some websites have that coming out in a few weeks to replace the Dash.
it would be better if all the carriers go together with GSM and had t-mobile's prices. I wonder why nobody talks about the carrier in florida with unlimited minutes? If they every came here it would be over for all the carriers because of their cheap unlimited minutes plans.
according to this website...http://www.t-mobilesignal.com/forum/f8/upcoming-t-mobile-phones-1313.html it's just as crappy as the sidekick Zante. Any phone on EDGE nowadays is trash.
I don't think it will be fast at all with that processor. The sprint and verizon phones operate on a 400 mhz processor. This one is 312 and runs on EDGE. There is no texting included on blackberry plans and to add wifi hot spots will cost you $20 more on top of voice plans, data plans, texting plans, and t-mobile@home service. I'll just wait for the 3G if it ever comes for the sidekicks.
once again t-mobile....why not get phone with 400 Mhz processor. This thing is gonna be as slow as the pearl. I will not buy it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
