I guess I foreshadowed this trend. I went from an E34 535i to a B5 A4 1.8. 10 years older and somewhat more financially secure, I still see no need to 'upgrade' to a Mid-Size luxury car like a 5-series or A6. The 3-series and A4 have plenty of options for me. In fact, if VW brings the R20 to the US, I might be looking at another 'downgrade'.
Where is the Jetta TDi in this comparison? The Diesel would have creamed everything else in this test. Creamed. Like Corn.
Gaaaah!!! Not when I've just come back from a sushi lunch!
I understand creative hyperbole for the sake of sensationalism ... err journalism, but 8 minutes? Come on.

I'm not an Apple fan by any means but I believe that the 3GS does a far better job than the competition (WebOS, Android) when it comes to power management on 3G. I typically get 14-16 Hrs of use out a single charge and that it more than adequate if I'm not traveling.

There is no comparison between this and my old Samsung blackjack which literally croaked after about 10 minutes of 3G use on the RSS reader.

Seriously, why is everyone up in arms about having to charge a phone every night? Unless you're a professional Appalachian trail guide, a power outlet is pretty easy to find.
This is actually easiest on ATT. Simply press # when the voicemail comes on and it skips everything.

Contrary to what your hateful northerners constantly claim ( if my iPhone were only getting 150 Kbps on 3G, I'd be hateful too), its not that bad.

Oh jeez ... you guys are FUNNY!!!
Brilliant. This ranks right up there with the 'cultural revolution'

Get those fat cops to do some exercise so they can keep up with the terrorists Hu Jin Tao.

I mean Jeez, if you're in a SWAT team and you need a frickin Segway to get around, the whole system needs to be scrapped.
The inclusion of a Quattro 2.0 option is very interesting. If you put an APR chip in this car, you basically get a ~$35K S3 without the cheesecutter grill. Oh and it'll cream the 3.2.
The #1 commenter reminds me of a very prominent scientist of the 19th century who published a paper on why heavier than air flight was 'impossible'.
Welcome to capitalism.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
