My wife would really like to get her hands on one of these. She is still sporting the original enV.
I would love to get in on the cheaper price.
Looks like they raised the price of it. It was $99 for all of February and March.
Not yet they haven't. I have an Omnia with a locked GPS.

It would have been better if they left the internal memory alone and then added the MicroSD. That would have made for a very nice device.
It won't work on Sprint. It is a GSM phone.
Your read link is broken.
To bad this is GSM only. There are no good GSM carriers where I live.
@dave,
GPS works fine on the XV6800.

@roflercopterer,
PhoneNews gives credit to dcd. The download link has his name on it. :)
A bunch of people over at XDA have tried. They have gotten it running but it slow and designed for VGA devices.

Verizon is all ready feeling the thanks to dcd. He has a new ROM available for Verizon user that works perfectly with GPS. :)

His ROM is available on XDA-Dev.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
