Normally I scoff at this kind of thing.... But it's just so science fiction-y looking that I want one.
Humorous comments about porn in public aside, this actually has some merit... Not so much in the great outdoors, but I could see a number of commercial applications for temporary displays or promotional activities that wouldn't be hindered by having to run extension cords from the nearest, inconveniently placed outlet.
That's a very good point... wonder were they're hiding the ports? (that or it's a rendering fail)
I'm surprised this didn't get a "C-E-Oh no" title. That aside, I'm inclined to agree with the general sentiment (if not the propagandistic "fruit" comment) that in times when money is tight, people are less inclined to pay the Apple tax.

It would still be nice if MS would do something to re-work Windows to make it better. There have been all kinds of little tweaks and window dressing added over the years, but the basic layout and operation of the OS hasn't changed significantly since, what, win 3.1?
"rocks 256MB memory, 128MB flash storage..." Wait, what!? It has more RAM than storage? They couldn't spring the, what, $10 for a 1 gig SSD these days?
I feel a great disturbance in the force... as if suddenly over-simplification reached critical mass and becomes a huge pain in the ass causing millions of customers to demand refunds for MP3 players that have to be operated like morse-code key.

That's a little more believable. Thanks for the clarification.
Er, make that thousand, not million... My bad.
Being an iPhone user, I'd be more impressed if 10 million of those 15 million apps weren't flashlight or other useless novelty junk.

I'd much prefer to have multitasking and push notifications (or god forbid copy and paste) than ten beer drinking apps.
Yeeeeaaaaah... That could be good for switching over iPhone users, but good luck getting Apple's buy-in on that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
