This phone is just about identical to the VU30 on Verizon, except for the difference in headset jacks.
For what it's worth, I've seen mention of a sku for the "Voyager standard battery - silver" floating around.
You're citing a Moto rep as your source? Good luck with that.
It's not really thinner. A little smaller (a little more narrow and shorter). Think somewhere between a Centro and a 755P.
I hate the blue.
You can tether with this plan (for an additional $30/mo.) The only difference between $44.99 and $29.99 is that $44.99 gets you corporate email and PIM, in addition to the POP3/IMAP & web access that the $29.99 gets you.
verizon already had the 2mp g'zone with ev-do but that's been discontinued for a while now.
Then don't go over the 5gb if you don't want to pay overage. That's what Verizon wanted anyway. I mean, what percentage of aircard users actually even approach 5gb in a month? I'd say it's less than 3%
Neither Apple nor at&t have a responsibility to unlock the phone for anyone, at any time, or for any reason.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
