how do you get verified?
Convenient, I needed a new controller.
yeah, elegant isn't the word, points for effort though. Slim it down by a third but keep the black area the same size, vertically center the status indicator, paint it a high gloss white instead of the brushed finish, and it would be something to look at.
I guess for them it's that time of the month...or year.
@robotkiller

"Sure the iMac is expensive and you would like perfection -- but with an i7 processor and a 2560x1440 27" IPS/LED panel with 4gb RAM and a TB HDD in an AIO enclosure, it's pricing is not out of line."

It's pricing IS out of line at $2200 asking. You can get a more powerful tower especially in the graphics area for $1200 leaving, a grand to spend any way you want i.e 30" IPS panel with a proper graphics card to back it up. If they launched this possibly a year ago same thing at $2499 it would have been something.
@MikeZ

you didn't hear? Apple changed it, it's now:

"It just works...most of the time"
@Bad Beaver

In regards to the site. "I don't like change"
This will be a Christmas present for people I don't like.

note: may or may not be a double post, getting 404 errors every other page. what's wrong Engadget?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
