Backgroundable (making up words, sweet) apps or whatever other form of multitasking. I tried to jailbreak, which worked fine, but then the backgrounder app screwed it all up.

Also, I really liked the chromeless and matted-backed photo that was around before 3G S release.
...and it will be crippled hardware-wise and probably cost more. Good deal!
There went the one reason I had to switch to Sprint. Oh, wait; the non-screwed version of the Touch Pro. So the war is not yet won.
They don't show that wacky keyboard layout that was posted yesterday, either. And microSD limit dropped from 32G to 16G. I think AT&T will get my money for this.
+1 to that. The time is approaching to switch to AT&T -- if for no other reason than the incomprehensible decisions Verizon makes with their phone designs. Isn't this crippled with respect to hardware too? Slower, less RAM or ROM?

Touch HD. The only decision I'll need to make is between the HD and the Pro, as I'd probably rather have the keyboard. That's assuming they're both available on AT&T so I can kick Verizon to the curb.
We all use Macs at work. There are now three people with Inspirons who have MacOS installed. You can't use Software Update and I guess you have to search for some drivers, but it's working well for all of them.

Lots of things I appreciate in MacOS, but I don't appreciate the price of Apple hardware.
Except Verizon's will be crippled. :( I'm with them now and am undecided as to which new carrier I should use to get the Pro.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
