After downgrading mine to 1.1.1 after the TouchFree DIDN'T work, it would no longer activate. I tried everything. Then upgrading to 1.1.2 it activated immediately. Can't wait for the next jailbreak, but the interface is faster and more responsive than before. I like that trade for now.
I am an Apple fanboy and I agree. I get my Apple news elsewhere so its kinda a repeat. I'd rather see more general OS stuff listed like the technology is. Maybe try adding more science stuff. Of just make enough feeds that every option is user configurable! Maybe thros some political stuff in too. [zeitgeist movie]
I just want the Dock to have the look and Piles action, like in the picture above, but for the sides. Oh and a Finder that shows file permissions in list view.

Actually list view could be A LOT better, just resize any Finder window to full screen in list mode and just stare at all that wasted space! Any why can't Icon scaling just be smoother and sexy, why do I have to select a certain size? Why can't we just select the MIN and MAX size and let is auto scale do the rest.

So there's my one comment, plus some comments to my own comments.
I would like to see a really sophisticated alarm clock. An app that plays an iTunes playlist from quiet to loud over 15 min before a beeping alarm goes off. Also have it play another selectable playlist for going to sleep where the sound gets turned down over an hour. Of course everything should be highly customizable. Imagine a world where everyone can wake up easier to start their day. PLEASE SOMEONE WRITE THIS APP!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
