Does anyone else have concerns about loading the equivalent of 200 or so shotgun-shells worth of explosive on a single airliner if airbags were mandated?
I think the point is that you can buy a Nokia that is locked from an operator (and get a discount), or pay full price, and get a Nokia that is unlocked. In that case, there are no limits to 3rd party apps. I haven;t seen a case where someone who pays full price (with no subsidy) also ends up with a locked phone.
I think Apple hired that guy to simply beat the crap out of anyone who dares unlock their iPhones.
Would a stretch accord be called an accord-ion?
It's not really that hard to figure out - the entire concept of incarcerating someone as a punishment is to cut them off from society. The introduction of a cell phone into this environment counteracts the entire reason for putting an inmate into jail in the first place. Despite what some of our more 'enlightened' world neighbors may believe, our system of justice believes in jail as a penalty - not an overglorified 'time-out'.
The only Nokia-owned store currently in operation is in Moscow - other stores that appear to be 'Nokia Stores' in Europe are independent retailers exclusively selling Nokia products, but are not Nokia owned-and-operated.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
