I wonder what would happen if one has this thing and then breaks up with a partner...... At least *I* would send rather nasty stuff to that thing :)
Nargh! So now I can't make fun of the US for using different frequencies & technologies than the rest of the world for their mobiles... damnit...

Oh, and btw.: There is a Germany outside of Bavaria (and that's good :) )
Interesting, but even if I would join (don't have a smartphone, yet), I wouldn't ditch a multi-hundred-Euro phone....

But that gives me the opportunity to get one cheap off ebay.... HTC Touch Pro, I'm comming!
There was a hickup with the shop system.... Its back to October!
Still to late for me.... HTC Touch Pro is mine.... mmmmmyyyyyy preeeeeciioouusssssssssssssssssssss.... :)
Perhaps it would help to just obey to the usual GSM standards, instead of screaming: "Build another phone for the US"....
Just a thought ;)

(Getting a Touch Pro in about a month...)
Can you say anything about the X1's keyboard? I've heard / read that the sliding scratches the keys, which would be quite bad...
Thanks alot for all those pics... now I'm even less sure about which phone to pick HTC Touch Pro or X1... =/

Cheers
Phil

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
