i would like to see this technology developed even more, but the design can go to hell. but it looks wicked slow going uphill, so it looks like there still needs work to be done o_o

hmm...over-unity? it's funny how they casually mention that they're just going to add in some technology that technically shouldn't be possible...though if they added solar-panels and some sort of turbine thing on the wheels, giving the car much more energy then it will use, then i guess it would technically achieve "over-unity", but not really. kinda like hooking up an exercise machine to a solar panel o_o
Wowww. Take a photofast card adapter for psp and plug in 8 of these and you pretty much get 128gb of storage for psp! even though you'll be spending upwards of $600 for the whole setup o_o
someone go test out a divx movie on it!
Why are iphones being compared to the symbian OPERATING SYSTEM, which is on countless different types of phones!? Comparing the sale of hardware to software isn't the most accurate comparision that one can make. Especially when you're comparing Symbian, who has been in the markert for years, to Apple, who has just started last year. Can you honestly hope to prove a point by comparing numbers that are blatantly OBVIOUS? It's most likely not the quality of the operating system itself that has resulted in this many sales, it's more like symbian has a greater presence than iphones, whose hardware and OS are unique only to that specific product, as well as the limited amount of places that one can acquire an iphone.
I'm not an iphone fanboy, i have a nokia phone. but this article is pretty much crap. maybe the intent was to get the numbers out, but it's just ridiculous to be comparing the sale of physical iphones with symbian software. There are too many differences for it to be anything other than mere number comparisions.
they use different signals in japan, which are way different here. the wavelength or whatever that japanese phones use for tv is being used by the military in the states, and since japan is smaller and the nation is ruled by virtually two carriers, the systems and networks are easier to upgrade and take a shorter amount of time, unlike in america, where things take a horribly long time to get done, like t-mobile's 3G band, or any cell carriers introducing live videochat. if i got anything wrong, somebody far more knowledgable in this area correct me :]
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
