Yeah, the $120 was too much after all the negative reviews.

I do think the idea for the game / peripheral was decent enough though.

It already dropped to $90 "sale" price before xmas, so after seeing that, I asked for one... but at $120 I didn't even bother...
Too late... Whoremonix has now started milking their cash cow...
Whoring out their little rock band to make even more band only games...

I highly doubt that this will be the last one.

What ever will the fanboys do now, they must be so confused!
Like ALL "restructuring / outsourcing" This will undoubtedly be followed by a drop in product quality...

Its a shame to, they have a great product...
it would be a damn shame to see it lose quality due to the greedy business people thinking that you can save money by outsourcing parts of the work.

typically, outsourcing == lower quality, always
Better Product?

I would hardly call a game with ONLY ONE band singing / playing nearly the same monotone sounds over and over and over and over again a "better product".
Besides, pretty much all the Beatles fans I know would buy millions of rolls of used up toilet paper if you told them that the Beatles had touched it.....

Yes, Activision is evil, and is the Microsoft of video game companies (hey, look, Microsoft getting beat at something they are notorious for!)

A better test of who make the better product will come next month with it will be:

Lego Rock Band _vs._ Band Hero

Originally, I was leaning towards L:RB, until I found out that it has ZERO online playability! (WTF HMX? Are you fucking kidding me?)
$10 was pushing the limit for the games I bought (scrabble / boggle).
But for the countless hours I played them over LIVE! while talking / BS'ing with a couple of my friends, they were worth it.
I might have to pick up a couple more of the Hasbro Family Game Night games now...

$10 for for the ones remaining that I don't have is a bit too much (I'm missing 4/7)

I really hope they all get listed for $5!
I seriously doubt it though...

I would buy a few for that price... if it is less of a discount than that though, I will probably only get 1 at the most.
Thanks for the reminder, picking it up now!

yes, quite often I guess
Taking sarcastic internet comments a little too serious much?
Why no NA / Euro release date? -- FAIL

Nice discrimination going on there...
I guess only the Japanese like puzzle games then, right?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
