Looks very nice, especially the 4.1" screen, but I just can't get too excited about a Windows Mobile phone, regardless of the hardware.
Nothing suspect to me. If it's fake, give that kid an academy award for nailing the dorky, geeky, teen programmer role.
What a moronic response.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Please, go elsewhere.
I'm sure I'm staring right at it, but can someone tell me where the aforementioned gallery is?
Apple's behavior of late has really left a bad taste in my mouth. In my mind, they went from a company that I admired, to a company that I'm second guessing these days.

I'm a heavy Apple user (several laptops, a desktop, a 1st gen iPhone user, and a current stockholder), but again, their behavior of late is really getting me down on them.

Botched product launches (mobileme, iphone instability, iphone feature omissions, etc.), and a "screw you" attitude exemplified in a story like this really doesn't make me want to continue supporting them. I hope they turn things around, and fast.
I didn't read through the comments, but this is absolute BULLSHIT and I am pissed. My birthday is today, and for the past week, I told my wife that if family members want to know what to get me, they should buy Apple gift cards for me to use to buy my iPhone.

This is just wrong.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
