Ah newgrounds, brings me back to high school days. Slightly off topic, but it just occured to me that an awesome way to recap on MGS before MGS4 is watch speed runs.

Opera Mobile 9.5 Build 1126

And this is still in beta. On my AT&T Tilt it displayed www.nationalgeographic.com (what the keynote used for comparison) in an average of 16 seconds with 3.5G (HSDPA).

I was not impressed with the Safari on 3G iPhone claims of being the fastest mobile browser with just 21 seconds on 3G (and 17 on Wi-Fi).

Oh, and this is from my basement, not outdoors or anything.
At AT&T Unlimitted data for blackberry and PDA is $30 for routed IP and $40 for a direct external IP.
$20 is for handsets but technically, it's the same thing at the $30 plan for PDAs. I'm paying $20 for unlimitted data on my Tilt. My sister pays $30 for her blackberry because her job is paying for it.
I'm pretty sure they going for something like those "Bud Light Presents: Real Men of Genius" with the guy singing in the back.
30mbit / 5mbit + 5 Static IPs for $55/mo
and now with free wifi?
WIN!
you can complain all you want about the onscreen keyboard but HTC has a couple of other keyboard styles. also, you're forgetting this is a windows mobile device, so you're not locked into one type of keyboard. you can use handwriting recognition or if you really want an iphone copy: http://www.pocketcm.com/keyboard2.php
Download & Install (Free)
AT&T put Java restrictions on my v3xx. Everytime you want to download any data from the internet you have to allow the transfer. Every time, meaning every time Google Maps wants to refresh or download a new area on a map, you are prompted. It turns out to be every 10 seconds you hit Allow. That's only one example, but I don't know about any phones after that. I have a Tilt now. I had the v3xx but I would lose the AT&T built in java applications by swapping the security file.
It's in the hardware, but I'm not sure if it was activated in the firmware.
The CEO os AT&T Mobility is going to be fired? What?
A bit too late. I just got my hands on the Opera Mobile 9.5 Alpha build. It's great. Might give it a try out of curiosity though.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
