if you read the fine print of AT&T data plans you will discover there is no difference between Canada and the us. in fact the 6gb plan in the summer was the best at that time in north america. please do a little reading, there is a difference between data and surfing plans, also if fido was bought by telus they would have discarded it so no you are wrong on that point.
nope not pvr! 160 degree viewing angle makes it shitty tn panel garbage.
you seem to forget that is the retail price. nobody has sales like dell and this panel like others will have huge discounts down the road. feel bad for the writer of the article, he puts so much effort in trying to sound like he knows what he is saying then drops the xyz bomb. also based on the specs this panel may actually be a pvr panel so the price is not all that bad... if it is pvr.
what? blackberry will never be the best after anything. you seem to forget the touch hd. also nokia has a new phone. these are actually smartphones. they are also much higher rated then any apple or BB phone.
in the words of Jobs himself, "the iphone is not a smartphone".
unless you are jailbreaking iphone apps are useless. even then the apps cydia has available are all beta and most are not perfected. the iphone is still in the smart phone wanna be category as is ever blackberry on the market.
jailbreak if you want mms. as for email i just forward all my other email addresses to gmail.
this argument has nothing to do with sony! bitch at microsoft and netflix for not doing their jobs making sure all their issues were resolved before selling something they had no right to sell. apple made same mistake several times and have slowly learned their lessons except they are still ripping off Europeans daily illegally!
telus and cdma in canada sucks.
mine cost about 300.00 mostly using used parts. it is connected via hdmi to a 47lg50 and looks amazing. all you need is a silverstone case and nobody will know the difference between your 300.00 build and their 3000.00 one.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
