Looks like I'm buying my next phone from ebay, so I can get a subsidy on big red's first android phone!
even if your on a BES, cant you still utilize the BIS for your gmail?

provided the IT policy allows such...

Google Sync will sync my calendar... via two way sync even...

I am kinda confused as to exactly what benefit is presented in this blog entry...

Push email, ok, but my Gmail gets delivered hella quick anyway, and push calendar, that sounds cool, but still... google sync...
if they continue the click screen, they should put one of the clicky button things in the middle, and in each corner of the screen.

i wonder if that might solve alot of the click issues...

hell call it sally and I will still buy it. i cant WAIT FOR THE PEARL FLIP!!!!!!!!!
i cant f-ing wait for one of these to launch. i ike htc phones, but ive gotten so turned off lately by touch screens.
i think it would be an awesome idea, plus a bolt-on for minutes, i use data most often, so this is pretty attractive to me,

but something like this with say, 700 or 1000 total anytime minutes would rock.
sorry for linking to phonescoop, but i think this was one of the only 2 or 3 candybar phones i saw from LG

OH MY HOLY EFFING JEBUS!!!!!

i want one.
i dont understand the trackball. if it is meant to be "rough and tumble" they it should have a d-pad... in my mind.

trackballs fail much more often than a d-pad will. I baby my pearl so i dont screw up my trackball.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
