I for one am glad that American Attack aircraft had to turn around and go home. Now, if we could just get this feature into their tanks and ships...
Because of how I use my main computer, both a business networked machine and a home comuputer, I need "Ultimate" to get everything I have today. "Ultimate" costs $644NZD for the upgrade -- no wonder no one is even stocking it. I'll sit this one out and see how "Riveria" shapes up.
Absolutely as a phone/PDA app! A great idea that could reduce urban isolation. I'd like to see a profile analysis and photo of the 'matched' person on screen -- that way I'll know who to look for since we won't be carrying bears. Maybe there is hope for Bluetooth yet.

Oh, can you put it in my Chumby -- that isn't here yet?
Now if they'd only develop the USB port difibulator or at least a good USB espresso maker, your laptop could keep you alive instead of just recording your demise.
Vista will hasta la vista

..and no one will notice...
Are you sure it's just Hype? Gosh, I first read it as "High-Pee" of course I made the same kind of mistake with Windows "Viscera" if things keep up like this I might have to move over to “Appal” or "Lumox."
Great now my Chumby can follow me around!
Ye Gods, they already speak a lower form of English in NZ, this will drive the place back into the dark ages of literacy. NZ is hell bend on not putting the little darlings under any stress or putting any kind of challenge in front of them where one person might exceed another -- it's becoming Walden II down here and we will suffer for it.
What's that sonny-boy? You're too young to have an opinion, why I oughta re-boot you. Now git back to your Mc-job I'm gonna need a lot of health care and you are going to pay for it, you and your robot over-lords. Gawl-dern new fangled robot over-lords, can't make no sense out of those manuals no how. If they can put a man on the moon, why can't they -- oh, wait a minute, this generation can't put a man on the moon. Dag-num, threaten me will yeah, why when I was young we knew how to threaten the oldies, I tell you. Listen up, we grew hair and had music without drum machines and it had melody, weren't just some stupe talking into a microphone, and code too, we did code, real code, not new fangled C+, why in my day that was what they drank on the moon. Call me old, will yeah... what were you saying? Never mind... young people and robots, no respect, I tell you, just no respect!
Suppose there was a war and only the robots showed up.

(Under 35 alert: It's a play on John Lennon's famous phrase. He was a musician of a form called Bug Music, spent a lot of time in bed, married an artist, broke up the band and was gunned down in New York -- no, human not robot. Imagine.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
