IMO i don't see a problem with having apps that are "politically charged". Each person download's their parties app, if one app is offensive to someone of another view, then just grow up really, its a frickin application on your phone...
so i don't justify the rejection or any of the same nature for that matter.

p.s. some people like to read the comments of articles and get other people's opinions, so could we please keep the comments on your opinion of the app getting rejected (you know, what the article's about) not your political views.
WTF do you guys want these apps to do? Making your fucking coffee and tuck you in at night? While that would be sick(especially if it adds cream and sugar), these apps are still for a phone and ipods... I'm not an apple fanboy and I agree that having hundreds of fart apps that are useless is stupid, but thats not apple making these apps, third party companies do, and why do they?? Because YOU buy them. (by you I mean the consumer)
Apple can do whatever it wants, they developed itunes and they can choose what devices are compatible. Obviously they don't want the Pre advertising itunes syncing, cause in turn that'll take away sells from the iphone. There is no law saying your product has to compatible with everything in the market. It's called competition people, itunes is one of apple's biggest products that they've put on a pedestal: #1 music shop. Why would they want a phone that is obviously meant to compete with the iphone to sync with itunes? It doesn't make sense, it wouldn't be a smart business move right now, maybe in the future though.
I see where this going but you can't blame a feature, or really a setting, on kids rushing through tests...

t9 is a convenience, are we gonna blame drive-thru windows for people getting fat?
People are always trying to blame something else for their incompetence, just face the facts! Blame you're kids poor studying skills or test taking strategies* for the bad grades, not the way they text.

*Ok some people have really bad test anxiety and I understand that. It's happens to me on finals(I think it happens to everyone now and then). So i'm not talking to those individuals, I really mean no disrespect in any way.
Your hilarious! You not only claimed you can play soccer but now it's a child's game? The most popular sport in the world? You fit the basic conclusion that anyone with a life comes too when they come read one of your "witty" comments: arrogant nerd= jealous LOSER.

And I'm waiting to see your name in lights winning the nobel price for discovering the cure for cancer.
Another thing we have to understand is that most people aren't phone crazy and want a 5MP camera phone, the majority of the population doesn't care!

Besides a 5MP phone will cost more then a 2MP phone, and not a lot of people will shell out more dollars because it has a "nice camera", plus it most cost samsung more money to put a higher megapixel camera on a phone, and thats money they don't want to spend if they don't have too.
dude this is perfect
my dad really likes the VCAST TV but he needs a worldphone. when i told him about this he was so excited
wait a go verizon!!!
trust me they will!!!
Ok forget about smartphones, only a small percent of people use the smartphone to the fullest
this phone is targeted towards people that want a a VERY nice phone with plenty of features, thats easy to use, so business users can forget about the voyager.
and this whole thing about calling it a dumbphone if it doesn't have excel spreadsheets and all that bull is retarded.
to Lil_Sunshine
i had a HTC smartphone and i hated it
the windows on it was so sluggish it's really pissed me off
so i said goodbye to windows and smartphones!!!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
