This is OT but Alltel released 2 new phones today: LG AX300 & Samsung MyShot.

Are you joking? Where I live Alltel is the major carrier, pretty much everyone has it. Did I mention their amazing coverage? My family has never been charged for roaming and we've been through many states.

My family has been with Alltel for almost 4 years and they are great! We're from Michigan and we travel down south and we always have reliable reception.

Never once have we ever been charged for roaming too. Only con is their phone selection isn't the greatest but its improving.

Lately Alltel is getting better at releasing phones. Although I'm still kind of bummed about them doing everything to block MP3 ringtones and making us pay $2.99 a tone. However we're finding hacks to work around this. :)

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
