The answer to the economic crisis is easy, everyone gets a free Mac laptop and free wifi, then we all talk to each other, stop all the wars and enjoy each other as a community!
PLEASE!! Add a turn off switch for the repeat text alerts!! The annoying repeats of an alert I've already seen is just plain abnoxious. I read my iPhone texts on the screen, I don't want to have to pick up the phone after every text.
The version on the website is over a year old and says it supports up to 10.4, will this work properly on Leopard?
THANK YOU, that totally fixed it!!
It seems you need a password to download this, any suggestions?
Everything seems to work great except for VPNClient. I'm getting an error 51 since installing 10.5. My IT guy at work is gonna be pissed.
OK, I had tried the unlock but it failed. After reading these posts I tried to update to 1.1.1 feeling like my iPhone is locked, what the hell? After the update, I got the SIM unrecognized error. I went to AT&T and got another SIM, still nothing. I went to the Apple store, and after looking at my phone, they said that the IMEI number had been hacked (a result of my unlock attempt) and that they were powerless to do anything. I called Apple customer care and they said I can't even do a "out of warranty" repair. Basically they said buy a new phone is my ONLY option. FUCK!!!
This is simply the coolest gadget to come along and getting one from Engadget is the coolest way to get one. The sleak interface, the ultimate iPod all balled up together, I GOTTA HAVE ONE!!!
Does anyone know if the phone will have an interchangeable SIM card or a hardware one like present Cingular phones? I travel to Asia often and usually trade out my SIM card for a local one and avoid the crazy roaming charges.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
