Hello, I'm a Mac. Can I pleeeeze have a copy? Don't tell anyone.
I'm finding that WiFi reception is not as good as it is on my 3G. On the 3G I have full signal throughout my home, on the 3GS it hovers between 1 and 2 'waves' in the far corner of my home, and sometimes drops alltogether.
I didn't see any real data on the screen..so is it OLED or no? Better in sunlight?

The screen is the biggest disapointment to me. HTC phones have had VGA screens for at least 6 months already...now we've got to wait another YEAR before the iPhone finally catches up on that point? Browsing on a VGA screen is SO much nicer!
I would trade in the awesome VGA screen on the Touch Raphael for the front facing keyboard on the Treo Pro any day. Nice job Palm! Now give us a CDMA version!
I think it looks OK...but hoping the "flush screen" comment will make it to the 800w...
Whoa...one of those pictures of the top part of the phone shows a green LED right next to the speaker. Could that be a notifcation LED? Say it is so!!!
I tried a BB for a while, but the deal breaker for me was - ironically enough - the fact that my Windows Mobile device simply does a better job of handling email. It syncs with Exchange flawlessly, just like a BB does, include push mail. But it really outclasses a BB on personal email accounts. Going through BIS simply does not cut it, as reconciliation of email read/delete status between device and server is a crap shoot. No such issues with my WM device.

That said, I did like the BB user interface, and that track-ball ROCKS.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
