Yep! I live in comcastville, USA and I really wish that a FIOS truck would come drop a line to my house. =/
Just because the signal is intended to be picked up by a satellite doesn't mean you can't listen to it from the ground.
Thank god, someone willing to put their RL face in front of the camera!
These comments are filled to the brim with idiots. The article was pointless as well.

It doesn't matter what rights the government grants you if you agree to a contract that reduces those rights to nothing.

Ideally Blizzard would be engaging with its disgruntled customers instead of banning them from the forums. Nowhere in the forums code of conduct does it say users will be banned for being angry.
Wasn't that MW2 screenshot actually of a group that was "boycotting the boycott"?
^ That kind of discussion has been all the rage on cable these days. If you don't like something, don't bother engaging in meaningful conversation, just belittle your opposition and start screaming.
"The topics are infinitely complex, often times requiring high level education to understand completely."
That's some sloppy writing there. I'm sure the game isn't *infinitely* complex...

Anyway, the vocal minority exists in MMOs just as it does in all games. The worst case scenario here is that Blizzard stops listening to the community. Is that so bad? I don't think they waded through 20,000 topics on buffs and nerfs before deciding on the balance of siege tanks in starcraft -- but it was still a great game.

All the most vocal players need is a chill pill and an CM to be nice instead of talking down to them.
@Badison
They're waiting for you to make them.
Why would you buy one when paper is so much cheaper and faster?

I'm going to wait until the refresh rate for e-ink is less than 100 ms. =/
I don't think there's any comparison between the two. The current crop of Google street view pictures are stellar, the usability of the app is top notch, and the locations covered are unmatched by Bing. If MS expands quickly, they might be able to catch up. But honestly I don't care if they do. I think Microsoft should stick to making (or trying to make) excellent software and let Google have the web.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
