I see a Windows key... They can't even copy the keys correctly!
@The Indusrty Standard

What will be left after the first week? I have visions of these lappies without their screens, motherboard, hard drive, keyboard, battery, etc., within two weeks... soon, I wonder what people will think when people will see when they see bare HP Pavilion, Dell XPS, and Sony VAIO chassis sitting on small tables in front of a Windows 7 display. The former Duncan Hines Brand Manager (a.k.a. Steve Ballmer) won't be proud, but at least he won't mess up those laptops with his cheeseburger... because there's no components!

And I happen to like Saks for their fragrance selection (albeit in the Indianapolis store)...
But didn't Telus, up in our friendly neighbor to the north, sue Rogers over their own ridiculous network reliability and speed claims (you know, the one where "Rogers is Canada's most reliable network... twice as fast as any other") recently?

What makes Rogers' claims funny is that Telus just rolled out HSPA+, which made Telus faster than Rogers everywhere but Toronto (where it's a tie), and Rogers kept using the slogan.
I tried the CLIQ at a local T-Mobile store recently just to see what it was like, even though I have "the test guy", and was quite impressed. Personally, I think that blur is a great idea for today's "information age", and it works quite well once you try it in person, even if your T-Mo market doesn't have 3G yet (like my hometown of Fort Wayne). It's a good low-end Android device for average to heavy Facebook/Twitter users... and that's exactly what it's supposed to be.

No need to change it right now, except maybe make the price tag a bit lower to not cannibalize the similarly-priced Moto Droid. Still, T-Mobile's rate plans make it a smart buy.
Sorry to dash your Falcon hopes, but I read the words in the press release: "engineered and built in America".

Unless they decide to build a global RWD sedan here, it sounds like a stretch Taurus SHO with EcoBoost to me...
Don't forget about every iPod touch...
Despite my general love of Macs, this blocking of Flash is ridiculous.

Apple's darling HTML5 won't become truly standard until:
1) Microsoft adopts it in the next version or two of IE (not likely given their push for Silverlight)
2) Web developers adopt it (also not likely until final-spec HTML5 is on at least 2/3rds of web browsers in global use, including IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc.)

Droid here I come!
I can just see this tweet coming out any time now from a certain well-known Sprint exec:

@VZWOffers Incorrect. Our exclusive on the Palm Pre is until mid-2010.

And it sounds a lot like the voice in The Crystal Method's Divided By Night... I wonder if they had anything to do with the startup voice?

(TCM fan here)
I've tried the (original) Porsche Design fragrance at Von Maur here in Fort Wayne, and it's a very good scent... cool and sporty, but different, if you know what I mean. If you like Armani's Acqua di Gio, you just might like this one. Look forward to trying the Intense as well. (I know that Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus also sell it, but the nearest ones are a distance away.)

Surprisingly, one salesman at the local Porsche dealer had never heard of the Porsche Design fragrance when I told him about it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
